Program Development
Program development is often seen as an exciting task, yet daunting one to the person without program development experience. Program development may involve:
-
Creating an entirely new program that has not previously existed
-
Transitioning a program from one degree level to another - e.g., from a bachelor's to a master's degree, or from a master's degree to a doctoral degree
-
Conducting a needs assessment for the new program both internally and externally
-
Reviewing and providing input of documentation for various approvals - institutional approval, state approval body, specialized accrediting body and / or regional or institutional accrediting body
-
Assistance to create or modify a program vision, mission, curricular model, curricular map, assessment plan, course syllabi, budget, start up equipment and materials
I have experience in all aspects of Program Development. I can be hired to assist in any aspect related to program development.
